COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Operational update from the Pensions Team

In recent months the world has changed for us all.

From an operational perspective, our priority will be the safety and wellbeing of the pensions team. We are following Government and Mondelez guidance, as much as possible, for people to follow social distancing and work from home.

We are able to access all pensions systems remotely and can continue to pay all existing pensioners, plus set up pensions and make payments to new retirees.

At the date of writing, all of the pensions team are safe and well and are all working each day. Despite having a full team working, our output will be a bit lower than normal as we continue to adapt to remote working.

We therefore ask you to bear with us, during this extraordinary period. Inevitably some Fund members will have to wait a little bit longer for their general queries or quotation requests to be actioned.

The pensions team all have access to the pensions helpline, which remains in operation, but it would help us if members could contact us by email, where possible, until social distancing measures have been relaxed.

During this time, we will also be issuing as much correspondence as we can by email, rather than post. Please be assured that all documents will be password protected as required. We must also inform you that for the foreseeable future, we are only able to pick up physical post coming in and post letters that need to go out once per week.
